If you are a reader of HOT ROD magazine, you no doubt know what "Drag Week" is. I wrote to them over a year ago indicating that we would LOVE to host one of the dates at our facility.
It took awhile, but they have inquired about coming to GLD on Thursday September 13, 2007. Spoke to Randy yesterday as a followup.

This should be REALLY cool, either as a spectator or a racer. Yes it is on a weekday but that's how they choose to run it. Tuffster will prep the track so it's gonna hook, and I can't wait, this is really exciting.
Hope to see a lot of BCM people there! You could get some national exposure in one of the oldest and original "Car Magazines" of all time.
We will post more details as they become available. You don't want to miss this, it should be awesome.

Jay Brown
I guy I know from the Ford FE website named Jay Brown will be doing drag week 07.....
He has a 69 Mach 1 with a bad azz Super Charged FE in it.....the car won big block N/A a few years back ( when it was a N/A engine ) and last year he won 12.00 daily driver with his Ford GT.....
Here is Jay's engine set up....
I can't wait to see the Drag Week guys run at GLD !
