it didnt need it... i measured it!

its the original motor... it only had 79k on it. every single bearing in that motor was perfect and all it needed was a hone and a little bit of a ridge reem... even then it really didn't technically need it but when you put pistons and new rings in, its a good ideal. the cylinders were a little glazed but you could still see the factory hone job.

nice job, i like how you put in new forged pistons and not boost a stock engine and blow it up.

i blew up 2 stock engines one because of a timing problem the second with just seeing how much boost it could take(i made 4 or 5 runs with 13 psi befor it went!)

and there not forged.... there hypernetic. forged are way too expensive and would be over kill for what i am doing! stock rods can only handle 250whp on a good tune. soo i am limited to 200-220 whp. the hypernetic's are light weight and seal really good. they are overall a better daily driver set-up then a forged set-up would be. which is fine, its a saturn.... NOT A RACE CAR

But it's kindda like a saturn no matter how quick it is it's still just a saturn/lawnmower.

you would have been better off with the stock cast pistons....
hypereutectic are fine for n/a but with a power adder, you better be on top of your tuneup...............
    those are very brittle.

stock are weak and have a really small ring land on the top. they tend to crack more easily then the ones i have. stockers are 9.5-1 and these are 8.5-1. also if i can get a pic i will set the stockers vs the new ones. they arent anything much over stock as i implyed earlier. these were actually cheaper then getting a factory replacement piston! also i am not making a rocket ship.... just a "quick" dd
