    Ported LS1 heads for cheap...

These came off my 382 engine.

They are 853 casting ls1 style heads from a '99 and later car

They have NOT been milled at all compared to stock.

I just had them looked at and tested by AMS(local shop) on a Superflow SS300

This is what they flow uncorrected

Intake had a radius inlet but the exhaust was flowed without a pipe

    intake first, then exhaust

    .300 186.55 157.73
    .400 241.98 181.26
    .500 270.58 197.16
    .600 292.04 206.70
    .650 293.23 211.15
    .700 284.29 213.06

Have comp 921 dual springs that was good with my cam at .620 lift

    2.08 intake valve
    1.60 exhaust valve

    $400 for the locals

They'd work good on a stock cubic inch car, and are at the very edge of being restrictive on a 38x setup in my opinion

Honestly, I think it'd give you a gain(not HUGE 40rwhp) on the top end and keep steady down low with how that cam.

I guess the way I look at it, i priced them cheap enough that theyd be worth a 20rwhp gain and you'll be able to grow into them if you want something a little bigger later on cam-wise

those are really nice flow numbers for 853's, though I'd feel weird putting 853s where stock 243s were....
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.

With those 2.08" intakes and any decent sized cam your gonna need to notch your pistons.

Dont mean to shit on the thread, but they wont work that easy on a stock piston motor.

Better off changing pistons. Balance is technically screwed up either way and should be addressed.
