347 with forged internals setup for boost. I'm gonna spray it this year, but do the turbo thing over next winter. it was too good of a deal to pass up:

- Manley 4340 forged rods (part #14055)
- Diamond 2618 pistons (1.314 comp hgt, dished)

that's the same thing i heard. i had to buy it to make a profit. who wouldn't have done the same thing? so hear i make about 750 on it, pay for my new wheels, AND have the same 2000 to pay for that forged shortblock for the TC76 i want to put on it. hoping for 700RWHP next spring(2008)

the 853 casting LS1 heads that i have now are going on it. then for next year i'd like to have a set of dart 205's with te larger 72cc combustion chamber. should be right at 8.8:1 then. with my heads on it, with the mill it has, i think it'll put it right at 9.5:1 if i use the right gasket.

i just went cheap and used stuff i have laying around, so it'll work better this way and allow me to save for next year. i'll just run the same hooker headers. i got an LS6 intake and ported stock TB for now as well. couple of the guys have done turbo's with that setup and got quite the e.t.(low 9's with a bigger turbo). it's a wait and see type thing for next year. this year, shoot the 100 shot at the beginning like i did last year, then step up to 150 and hope for some 10.50's. Then maybe try the 200 shot now that i have the dedicated fuel setup. no more fancy stuff for me. that shit costs too much
