oh it plays music too, it just has the capabilties to watch videos on it too or put photos on it. ( crystal clear too might I add ) I also used it as a photo dump when I go on photo shoots. Memory card gets full, I throw it all on the ipod and continue.
I had like 5 full version DVDs on it to watch at work, TONS of music. with still some room left to add more.
