dang i thought i'd see more cars out!!! wonder what happened???

haven't seen any 10sec hondas lately although i hear of this honda hit 10s that honda hit 10s.... maybe i just didn't see them run at the event...

    PERFECT weather!!!

one of our stock LS EF did 14.3@91+mph... not bad for a stock LS engineswap. Most b16s/GSRs struggle to hit this time!!!

Anyone else run with good results???? Please share!!!!

Hell yeah to the weather. The only time it got to be alittle much was being right in the sun, sitting in the car with the fire jacket.

This is an LS swap? or other

I was cutting fuel after 7500ish rpm. I didnt pull a clean run all day. Saturday though, Driving out hwy16 towards oconomawak (SP?) It was tuning awesome and pulling hard.

    I did pull a personal best 60' of 1.64.

I saw the races, but didn't compete.

Geronimo ran a 8.7 second run -- I believe that it was a personal best.

Prescott (underdog) was #1 qualifier in Quick 8 with a 11.67, and was running 11.7's all day long, while on the brakes at the long end.

Mike Linquist (extreme parts civic) was running 11.7's all day long. Excellent consistency to his dial in's, with a 11.701, and a few 11.71's to 11.74's.

Garrett Parker was a no show (white evo, green rims)

Ed Horman (black 2G DSM) was having intercooler pipe problems most of the day.

The white speedquest del sol was quick, but having traction issues and not putting down the greatest of times. I know it runs 11.6's, but it was going 12's when I saw it saturday.

As for me ... tranny broke on friday driving home. Hopefully I get my clutch soon so I can put the new tranny in and get ready for Import Wars #6.

This is the 7th broken tranny.

The new one is sitting in my garage waiting to be put in.

Thanks Bee! I am hoping with some practice and the use of the studder box I will be able to pull 1.3-1.4's.

Just remind me here... Which one is the EF? EG is roundish 92-95... Is this newer then that, or older?

122k miles, street use and track abuse New tranny has limited slips and cyro'ed gears and crap. Not the noisey box, but its should do pretty well.

Well, when you put 600 lb/ft of torque into a stock tranny, it won't last long.

The last race tranny lasted like 1200 miles before 3rd gear exploded.

AWD causes quite a bit of stress on the drivetrain.

I wish that the dogbox was available in 2002 when I broke my 1st tranny. It would probably be still going strong if I did. I certainly could have bought at least 4 dogboxes with all the broken ones that I have gone through. At $6000 for the dogbox, it will be a goal to have for next year, as well as a different turbo setup and all the supporting modifications.
