These are great guns, I have one and it shoots great. Not sure if yours does, but mine has a metal butt plate on it. Kinda hurts after a while. Nothing you couldn't fix easy though.

This is an awesome weapon, i know this particular one well, and shoots nice, cannot be beat for the $$$$. BUY IT. Mausers are nice weapons, and 7.92x57 packs a helluva punch.

Mail order. They had a special a month or so ago in the email specials. I bought that and a stock to get over the $75 min.
It's 50's yugo which is supposed to have harder primers some rifles reportedly need a new firing pin spring. Otherwise they have Romanian for 32.95/ 380 rds

The nice thing is the flat $12.50 shipping that century has.

Aim has the same price, but usually works with you on the shipping if you buy a few calibers and gives you a better deal. They almost give 7.62x54R away!

i want to learn more about FAL's before i build one. the part that concerns me is the "metric/inch" parts thing

  19. #19
    Nice M48
    Someone should snap that up.

Mine isn't as nice, but seems to have been "used" in the former Yugoslavia back in the 90's due to the Serbian coat of arms carved in the stock.

The only sucky part about FAL building is receivers are expensive compared to AK's and harder to get due to not that many people making them. I believe just the British and Australian FALs are inch , but I could be wrong.

    Sorry for the hijack.
