this might be stupid as hell but im kind of curious... can you or has anyone ever done a C5 vette rearend on a 4th gen fbody.??? im just wondering cuz i think it would be kinda slick to have a rear inependent suspension on a 4th gen

Seen it done i will look for a link! Not a dumb question at all+1
I too have seen it done, costs long money to do it
The new one will be IRS right?
I know a couple people have swapped C4 IRS rears on to thirdgens.
NOT an easy job.
I could see doing the C4 swap into a 4th gen. But I can't imagine the amount of work it would take to do a C5 swap into one, considering the transaxle, and torque tube etc.

the torque tube can be replaced with a drive shaft. the fun part would be the mounting of the subframe.
