    Output shaft swap on TH350...

anybody ever done one? how easy? i think the splines are twisted on mine from not having the full engagement of the yolk, so now with the longer driveshaft it might not go all the way on.

yeah, that's what i figured. trying to see if it was the YOLK that was twisted, or it's the output shaft. we'll see at 5pm tonight when i get off of work. i can always just hammer this **** on, hahahha

see, the OTHER driveshaft yolk i had been using slipped on fine. so over the course of the winter, i can't believe not driving the car caused it to twist. sorry Ron, but i'm hoping the yolk is what was twisted and that's why it didn't slip on

the yolk on this new driveshaft is exactly the same as the one you gave me, with that little "space" or keyway type area in it. my old yolk did not have that, but they had an output shaft from a Th350 and they slid it in just fine, so that's what scared me about the twisted area

TH350 yolks twist all the time, thats the same one the 200R4 uses, I've twisted 2 of them in my GN. I guess know one makes a good forged yolk?....

TH350 and Powerglides are the same yoke. Good yokes are very available.
