    No, it is a stock '01 ls1 shortblock(346 ci) with a medium sized cam and some headwork, tranny is a stock t56.

    Good choice on motor, they can't be beat for a pure low cost powerhouse!

    I am suprised nobody has a turbo Civic that goes 10's in street trim??? What does that Civic weigh??

    88-91 civics/crxs = 2350-2550lb

    92-95 civic = 2500-2750lb

    96-00 civic = 2650-2990lb

    oh and remember they are FWD...... 10s don't come overnight...

    My civic probaly 2350lbs with my fat A$$ probaly 2600lbs. LOL . Hoping ill get a good 60ft then maybe 10s.(Still working on 60ft best 1.84).

    btW- my car is full street trim.

    WOW.... That is ungodly light!! My car scales in at 3,700 without driver on a 4 corner scale! Hmmmm, I should put my motor in a Civic!!

    Beeyond Engineering's "Black" CIVIC dipped deep into the 10s(10.1's)....... even with slipping 28" slickies almost all the way through.....hehe!!! yes i drove it!!!

    11.7 is good for N/A setup to them.....

    it's still a few day's out don't worry. just call the track the day of! DON'T SAY IT'S GONNA RAIN! it seems every RSD at GLD they forcast rain and it never did!

    I will be running tomorrow in quick 8 class like normal. Still have the stock clutch and same ole clutch in it though... I am still waiting on the quartermaster because of stocking issues from their supplier of the ring gear needed for the setup. the trans is also just back from cryotreating and should be together by monday. Hopefully, I will have this setup installed very soon so I can get breakin miles for the next month or two before IDRC nationals at Route 66.

    well, I know i didnt break my 14.5 that I had hope. TO DAMN HOT. Trap speeds were off because of the heat and just couldnt get my times down. Ah well, ill wait til an open night, than I can get my ten runs in an hour.
