What kind of tires should I get?

So it's time to buy new tires for the 'maro. It only needs rear tires (not because I've been beating on it) because I replaced the front ones earlier this year. I have '98 C5 Vette wheels on it now (17's in front, 18's in back). I just want some advice on what tires I should get. I was thinking about getting Sumitomo HTR Z II, only because they are cheap ($135.00 each). I realized after looking on Tirerack that 18" tires are NOT cheap! Thanks guys!

They are pretty expensive but some of the best. Go with what you can afford though
