nah it's ok.. i'd rather be reliable.. i've had my pushing the limit days with cars...just that I want this setup to see the street for a looooong period of time so tuned it the way i did....This setup is just a quick proof of what we specialize in due to the rumors on the street!!!

we'll do 20psi at GLDW next week with 10.5:1 a/f WOT(FAAT RICH) and see if this stock sleeve engine can handle it... 20psi is the limit for me and that is pretty much pushing it already.. I'll update guys...

Ok so here is the story behind project 2 weeks. Ran a couple more 11sec. passes at 20-22psi and decide to up the boost to 25-26psi. Got half way down the track and was already about to get into 4th gear when a cloud of white smoke shot out...so i braked a bit and coasted through a 12.4@83mph... ... if it held I honestly have to admit a 10sec run... felt similar to our drag civic when we ran 10.7-10.8s a couple years back. Either head gasket and/or broken STOCK honda sleeves(they are tiny with half aluminum/steel,,,very thin)
Amazingly however, the best time I managed to pull off at 22psi was an astonishing 11.27@126.5mph...1.848 60ft only because I ran right after they cleaned the track due to RAIN...1.71-1.76 60ft comes out of this car everytime except on this 11.2 run.. check below!!!

FYI: 11.27@126mph was not his time it was the 16.499@85 mph.
Com'on it's a Civic, there is no possible way a Honda Civic can go 11's it is just utterly impossible.

    UPDATE:

stock sleeves blew...due to high amount of boost pressure. PISTONS are near MINT and will reuse with a NEW set of JE rings!!! 11.5a/f when it blew...good tune with thin sleeves..gosh darn it....hehe!!! I'll post pixs of carnage... honestly i think 23psi will do a 10.99 pass. that will be next month's goal. right now too busy working!!!

ahahahahahah that was funny sh it. You know I am just kidding. Makes me want a Honda again with you know who is getting into it and all again . But I just want to lift the two front M/T's on the street and after that I'll build a 10 second honda that will get a least 23 mpg because 12 mpg is not cutting it.

maybe 12 or 16 but you know what I mean. Gas is killing me, and the Chevelle isn't even fast. I can't imagine when it's got heads, cam and nitrous

A Honda under good Vaccumm tuning can actually get 25mpg.... when you get into higher boost level injector pulsation will widen and that's when 10mpg kick in and big power kicks!!! so yes your honda can still get good mpg.... it's in the tune!!!
