Nice setup you have got there Tim, I wouldn't run your car anyways because they break the cars up according to there engine size, (I4, V6,V8) but I will tell you this if there is a red 1st gen Talon there with a Byond Redline sticker on it and a rollcage inside, your gonna have a good race

The fast cars will be racing June 2nd
I like to race at the real street drags at GLD because it's legal and safe for everybody.

First off, luke's car is in pieces.

Second, My motor was built by Luke.

Third, I am not a slow car, and I will be at both RSD's and Dropfest Drags. I will just have to go a little gentle on RSD's to not pop another tranny before the weekend ends.

Fourth, the 500whp in my sig does not reflect what the car currently has, hence "old setup".

Did you guys see me there? I had an ok night, still gotta tweark out some things via HPTuners.

twicks69 ~ Kinda figured it was built by Luke as no one else around here seems to know how to build a better DSM. Did you happen to see my buddy's 3rd gen RX7 last night, GT35r WHAT

On a side note, I have a good friend with a 1g talon that might be at the dropfest drags, not sure if it will be done by then or not. It was also bulit my Luke, on his old setup it had no problem running 11.X all day at 11lbs. of boost, new setup should be pretty interesting.

I was running at RSD last night, had a real good race with a local mustang guy, who had a descent amount of mods done (performance & visual) including a 5.4L from a ford lightning (non-boosted, raised the compression though) and I beat him by .1 in the 1/4mile it was a good race.

Well, ego kicked in....the hot lapping did not help, since the clutch overheated on the last race, and would not disengage, along with slippage through 2nd and 3rd gear.

2nd place ... due to redlight from the car creeping forward.

I did do a few damn good times for the conditions.

Track temp was around 100 degrees, air temp was mid 80's. Hot lapped really bad, less than 5 minutes of cool down time between passes on the timeslips.

    Best time:
    11.294 @ 129.965 with traction and clutch issues. Spinny spinny through 1st and 2nd, with a 1.872 60', 7.445@101.149 1/8'mile

I was there and had an absolute blast... I hardly saw anyone drag, when did they do it? I will definitely go back next year.

all i did was watch the drags, they were on sunday, the rest of the event was too much show and no go for me, but watching everyone getting owned by tim was fun
