Tokoyo Drift, MC in Hot Rod mag!

This months Hot Rod Mag features the cars of F&F - 3 Tokoyo Drift and one of the star cars is a 1971 Monte Carlo street racer, Juinor Johnson NASCAR-STREET!

The Main one for filming is a 509ci big block, headers, Richmond 4-Speed, 12 Bolt 4:88 spooled, running NASCAR Race tires (for cornering) and he is racing a Viper with it, and its badazz!!
And its a all go no show, in primer, cowl hood, big side exit exhaust with headers, and she cranks, they said driving behind it sounds like an F-18 Hornet taking off in after burner! check it out!

Hmmm maybe I should put a Big Block in my 85 GP instead of my already built 383 vortec headed stroker??????

Sounds cool...will have to check it out, how many domestic cars are in the movie? I thought I saw an old Stang as one of the featured cars.

Vortec headed 383 works nice! At least I like mine enough . What cam and carb are you running?

    Yup.

I think they have yet another '67 fastback. Is that the only car movie people think they had back then?

Yeah it has the 67 fast back, but he swaps in a Nissan Sylvia r26 twin turbo engine, but in Hot Rod they said it could not drift, so the dropped in a 302, it could not drift, they dropped in a 347 stroker, it would not drift very well, so then they dropped in a 575hp 430ci world racing windsor engine and yup it drifted then! they are predicting a 70's Monte Carlo up-rising after this movie as the car is shown as Big Block THumping azz whipping muscle car that roars!
And they are worried that every rich 16 year old will want a 67-68 fast back mustang to put a Nissan engine in YIKES!!! anyways, its the July Hot Rod mag I got in the mail, it has the 2007 Shelby's on the front cover. Oh and the 2009 Pontiac Trans Am that is looking fine!!!!

    yeah buddy!

That Trans Am does look pretty sweet. The guys letter about Mustangs always being around really made a strong point, too.

Crazy shame the Camaro stopped like it did.

Old Mustangs are the *Hollywood* fav car...every movie, etc...sexy cars but it gets a bit repetitive.
