Monte SS Posi FS

Posi from a Monte SS, I think it was from an '85 or '86. Fair shape, the backing plates need to be replaced and well and the entire brake system, but it is mostly complete. I took off the cover last year and everything looks okay, it moves freely and the posi unit looks good yet. First reasonable offer takes it!

whats the gear ratio? is that a 10 bolt 8.5 rearend?

It is a 10 bolt, but it's the 7.5 ring gear. I don't know the exact gear ratio, but it is 2 something.

2 something from a MCSS? If so someone swapped out the original...if its a 85'-88' they only came with 3.73's. HTH!

I do know that it is a higher 2's ratio, but I don't know what it is exactly. 2.73 maybe?
