So much for room in the garage.

Now that the snow is all gone and its warming up, last weekend I managed to get my truck into the garage. No laughing at the cb whips, the previous owner put them on, and I never did end up taking em off, but they are going. Its been sitting not running for probably 2 years now. Had to remove the hubs cause the back wheels didn't move very easily and I pulled it it down the driveway with my bonneville, then pushed with the bonny in reverse to get it into the garage up a little hill I have in front of my garage. The bonny suffered a broken tailight due to different bumper heights specially going up an incline. I placed an old tire between the two, but it didn't stay in place too long. Lol no biggie, that tailight was cracked all ready, I just finished it off. Little tough not having help to get it inside. Have lots of work ahead and not much extra room in the garage. Its not getting fuel from either tank, and needs a starter, so guess thats the first order of business. Also needs a new front driveshaft, lost that in town somewhere one night a few years ago. May paint it down the road possibly and try out the airbrush I bought and a different brand of clear I want to try. Guess I got some thinking to do. Wonder when I get it running if I'll have problems registering it. Its hasn't been registered for two years now. I had the title put in my dads name, but I have it now and he signed it back over. I miss having a truck. Sucks having most of my tools at work and having to drag them home when I want to use them.

LOL, ohh god, I got terrible enough gas milage as it is. I work on semis at work, and have some trouble getting them to shift, not driving them much yet. Not a real fan of glow lights and the clackity clackity either, but the power would be nice. Its really not in too terrible of shape, I fixed worst rust, but the truck must of been built on a friday. Guess it wasn't a coincidence when I bought the truck maybe 5 years ago, the guy I bought it from had a newer chevy sitting in the yard. I am just happy it is no longer sitting in the yard and I can mess around with it occasionally, and its getting nice outside to work.

Guess you can't really go through the underground parking ramps at the mall. I remember when I first got the truck and mines not lifted or bigger tires and there wasn't a whole lot of clearance on top, and the cb whips hitting against all the concrete support thingys was pretty embarrasing with the sound it made.
