    Yeah... It is a different world when you are building peak torque above 6k. I think its cool to look at the differences in the engine designs. When one is shifting, the other is hitting boost. When one is spinning the tires, the other is breaking.... All the Good stuff!

    As for the engine power band, I remember how my old mustang was just so responsive to throttle down low. With my integra, it does have a good proportional amount of tourque down low, but once the rpms build, the torque increases a bit and you really get the sense of being 'in the powerband.' My mustang did not do that at all.

    what kind of mustang did you drive????? its because the mustang most likely is already at its peak TQ most of the rpm band... same with HP... so you don't feel like its getting any faster. in peaky powerband cars you can feel the difference because its so spread out.
