Denny just recently started putting up info for Thirdgen Fest 06. Its going to be Memorial Day Weekend as usual, on Sat May 27th. IN CRETE, IL

There is also a party/kegger/bonfire on friday night at his place.

This will be the third year that brandon, tyler and I are going. If anyone else wants to tag along its a pretty fun time.

Usualy he raffles off a car as part of the show, This year it will be a complete sphon syspenstion package. You get one ticket with registration of a car and you can buy extra tickets also.

As I said last year I'm going to try to go, but I doubt my car will be done. It sounds like an awesome time though! We'll just have to see how good of shape i'm in that day since I know i'll be out all night the 26th for my 21st birtday Thanks for the heads up, I hope I make it.

That sounds like fun. It's 2 hours and 15 minutes away from my house according to Google Earth.

Well it looks like were just going down for the day on sat, we used to go down friday night and camp out. Its actualy not that far of a drive, I think it takes us just over an hour from milwaukee, unless traffic is bad.

Also like I said last year there are cars that show up that I would be embarssed to stand next to much less take to show so what ever condition your car is in, if it runs and drives it will have a few of them beat.

And last year there were plenty of people at the show hung over from the bonfire the night before.

Where do you leave from? Google Earth says it's 126 miles from the Marquette interchange to the area code 60417.

What route do you guys take?

We usualy fill up at the Pilot down on 94 and Ryan and then head out from there.

Oh yeah, Dennys place is on some back country roads that are pretty fun. Nice, long and straight, Plenty of room to test out the car.

Just an update on this. If your planning on going I would suggest registering soon.

Also I will be heading down there early Sat morning for the show. Any one that is interested in following us down there should meet at the McDonalds Ryan Road Just east of I94. Be there by 7:45 because we will be leaving at 8:00, that will give us 4 hours to get down there, wash all the road grime off the cars(theres a nice touchless/you spray car wash pretty close to the show) and make it to the show when it starts at 12:00

If your planning on meeting up with us shoot me a PM or something.
