    I also have poor quality vid of the car. In the foreground is a decibel meter. Meter is hard to read. I didn't rev it too much. Only a few stabs, thats all. I didn't want to blow it up Saved that for later

    mmmm detonation... thank god for for knock sensors lol apparantly the one on the ole SOHC didnt work so well?

    The 2V engines did not have them. I believe the 4V engines got them though. What a jip 'ey?

    Not a good recipe:
    10 psi non-intercooled boost (stock Vortech kit)
    Returnless fuel system(dead headed pump)
    No knock sensor
    Lead foot

    Damn! i thought just about everything late model these days had 'em...

    They are one HELL of a useful tuning tool though if the car comes with one and you can watch it on a scan tool of sorts on the go.

    At any rate, once the blower was off, it wasn't much fun any more. All those LS1s I use to pick on(summer of 2000), got their revenge two fold.

    run it at the track ever when it was running decent with the blower?

    not bad, would have been a 12.50 car @ 112 or so with traction and a decent 60 ft would be my estimates.
