New studio strobes, couple pics for Daytona fans 56k ouchy!

Just messing around with the new studio strobes testing some lighting arrangements over the weekend. Thought I'd throw one or two of these out since at least they are pics of cars (seeing as how all I seem to do here anymore is talk about cameras )

Well the #8 is an Action but the #3 is Revell. Action is by far the best out there. I went last week looking at stores and hobby shops for more die-cast and it didn't take me long at all to appreciate just how good Action is. The paint and details are just plain horrid on everything else. Frankly I am suprised now at how OK the Revell is compared to everything else out there

Thanks for the compliments guys. Simple set-up really. Piece of glass over black poster board. 2 27" softboxes and some reflectors. f/25 1/200.

you should get your hands on some action "elite" series cars. now those are nuts. real everything, and insane detail. I remember when they first came out, you could get a regular action car for $50, but an Elite for $130
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.
