    1980 BMW 320i autocross car

    SOLD

I have owned this car since Feb. of 2004 and its time for me to move on. The car is originally from CA and was brought to WI in 2000. The Little Car Shop in Milwaukee WI replaced the following
    11/30/2000 Clutch master Cylinder
    1/31/2001 Engine

Since I have owned the car I have done the following
4/30/2004 Corbeau Clubman Racing seat and bracket
5/4/2004 New custom header and down pipe
    5/28/2004 Battery
8/26/2004 Koni adjustable Shocks all four corners
    10/13/2004 H&R Sport Springs
4/04/2005 New rear shoes and drums
    4/07/2005 New rear wheel cylinders
    5/29/2005 Urethane control arm bushings
    6/24/2005 Yokohama Advan A032R Tires

I have autocrossed this car for two years now and it has been a blast. I have removed a lot of items from the car including the A/C, heater, rear seat, front passanger seat, center console, radio, bumpers, wiper arms and motor, and the mirrors. Im sure there is more but I cant think of them now. I weighed the car over the summer and it scaled in at 2005lbs with me sitting in the car and a full tank of gas. I weigh 130 lbs.

This car has ALL the original sports options. I have never seen a 1980 320i with all the sport options since many of the options were available in 1981-1983. These options include the original 13" basket weave wheels, front spoiler, recaro sport seats (I sold these to get the corbeau seat and bracket), LSD rear end, deluxe tool kit, fog lights, no 320i badge on the trunk.

I painted the car School Bus Yellow and Black over the summer. It looks very cool and attracts a crowd everywhere you go. I have wired the original fan for the A/C to a troggle switch that now cools the radidator

I autocross this car with a local Sports Car Club (www.madisonsportscarclub.com) and did very well. I ended up taking 2nd place in over-all points in 2005. I also competed with SCCA (www.scca-milwaukee.org) and was very competative. The car is both legal and safe in both clubs.

Price: I have a ton of money in this car as many of us car guys do. The first person to show me money takes the car. I am willing to deliver the car up to 75 miles for free and anything past 75 miles I will charge a small fee.

That thing looks like a blast. Those were solid and very durable cars. Very cool.
