SRT-4 guys a question for you!

where do you get your car serviced and are they good with fixing your car if it is modded? i was just asking for a friend was wondering a good dealership to take it too so they can fix a seal and fix the throttle positioning sensor thing for him but i dont want them to have a problem with the mods. The only mods are - HKS Raptor BOV,Ingen Intake,Manual Boost Controller,Apexi Turbo Timer, and some SRT gauges just let me know thanks alot!

Yeah it really depends on the Tech working on the car. If its modded, as long as they arent fixing anything at all related to your mods, they don't care.

dave - are you saying that since the nitrous had nothing to do with the oil running low....I should be able to have my car fixed?

Ok, I meant within reason. An intake or exhaust, suspension, wheels, the usual stuff. Obviously nitrous is a whole different situation. Jeez, do I have to spell it out for you?

If you aren't an idiot about it there is no reason why your car wont be warrantied. I mean if you remove your balance shafts and then try to take the car in for warranty that's stupid..

Don't open yourself to public ridicule by posting on the Internet then. You didn't take it in for warranty huh? Well you said this

You have blown up 2 almost completely stock engines in 1 year.
Dave has put on 20,000 miles this year with Stage 3 and spraying nitrous and he has not broken anything.

i didn't take it in to be warrantied - i merely said they wouldn't. Now - do you want to know the reason why this motor blew? You know what? I don't feel like telling ya. The first motor blew because the oil pump stopped pumping. so yeah...not my fault.

Wow we have a compulsive liar here. Not that this shocks me, but most people on BCM don't like cocky bullshitters as yourself. You say one thing and for some reason later you say you never said it when it's on black and white. Save your story for someone that cares..

Oil leaks?????? I havn't heard of any stock SRT's with oil leaks. Now doing some hack modding on them could make them leak.

read the rest of my comment......

"or at least paid for because I have documentation that Tasch said that there were no leaks"

I know I modified my car but I don't feel its right that I should pay for someone elses mistakes. Why do you think I didn't try and get my first engine warrantied?
