Yes . . . .
Long story short, I've given up trying to to make the HP+ be quiet on my car. They're quiet when being abused, and on track perform great, so that's what I use them for. I'll be...
I'll be running my Mazdaspeed3 again with a fresh set of HP+ pads up front.
They might sound like a bus on the street, but they've worked great for me at RA in the past.
MFBA puts on an excellent event, and I appreciate all the effort that goes into making these weekends great for all the participants. I'm just trying to pass back some feedback from the spring to...
I would definitely push for potential single session runners to have an instructor ride along. In the spring I know there were a few, and they were a bit clueless on track. I think it was mainly...
mods == beat
that and the questionable visual modifications would automatically put the vehicle on my do not buy list
I just went down to the DMV to get my license.
Easy as pie.
If you're comfortable on a bike and know the rules of the road well enough to pass your driving test, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I've been dumping Shell Rotella Synthetic truck oil in my Honda for a while, it's cheap, works good, and the clutch loves it.
Screw $10+/quart motorcycle oils.
AVOID "Energy Conserving" oils...
I'm already signed up and can't wait until October. It's a great event MFBA puts on, and getting out on track at Road America is the best time you'll ever have behind the wheel of a car.
Hi fellow Speed driver :)
I've got a Speed3 and browse some of the Mazda forums from time to time too. Have you looked into adjusting the shift cables or maybe look at replacing / modifying the...
I've run Pilot Power in the past and loved them.
Amazing grip on the street.
The not so amazing part, they didn't last very long. Soft + Sticky = Not alot of miles.
Oh, and I like Action...
4 door daily driver night at GLD tonight!
Haha, you leaving the car seat in the back too?
Sounds like I was right to save my $10/$20 and stay home.
I need to scrounge up some old CB parts, but from the pics I saw online from previous shows it looked like mostly crappy HD accessories.
Wow! That's booking along pretty good. I was only hitting about 125 last fall, although I was holding back from dropping her into top gear and preparing myself for the braking zones more.
The Speed3 is ready to roll again on Sunday. Got the HP+ pads back on and all freshly bled.
Looking forward to having an instructor ride along again since this is only my second time at RA on...
too much salt.
I'm still waiting for at least 1 good rain to wash the roads.
My bike may not be as pretty as when she was new, but I definitely don't want the rust / oxidation getting to her...
Since WCTC has been mentioned, don't forget MATC too. I know they used to run courses, and can't imagine why they still wouldn't.
I personally never took a course, just learned to ride dirt bikes...
Why don't they do the noise study right now?
Oh yeah, that's right, it's only loud maybe a handful of days out of the year, so :P
My forms are in for Sunday. Still considering going both days if funds are available.
I had a blast last fall, and can't wait until April!
This event was amazingly well organized in fall 2009,...
Sounds like an awesome event.
If someone brings the grill, I'll bring some brats!
Nice link. Makes me want to start working on my old CB again.
I like this quote from the site:
"Mini speedo attached to the front wheel drive unit. We think this is soooooooooo cool!...
:rolf
Have you seen the latest South Park episode? ? ? It's exactly like your list but in cartoon episode form.
Watch online @ www.southparkstudios.com
:( That sucks
They finally come out with a bike with a decent motor (1125R) and now they have to go away. I was hoping that within a couple years they'd figure out how to hide those hideous...
Indeed! It's ridiculous how quick that is but at the same looks like you're just out for a Sunday (or in this case Saturday) cruise.
