first scca is the drivers school and event 1 weekend the 16th and 17th of april. if you have questions, the open house is on April 3rd at...
if he's looking at m3's, good chance is he's looking for something to track on the weekends as well(if i think i know garrett... :goof )
so a tl would be a boat next to the m3 going through t1 at...
no nan, auto-x is where you learn great car control... there are countless pro racers that started off on the short course... :)
and like tyler said, for autocross, an almost stock car is best......
straights are usually 125-130'ish depending on exitspeeds, and kink is usually 95'ish... :devil
keep in mind, this is an NA 4-cylinder on 205/50-15 street tires... :banana:banana

jesse, you should be fine... the belt thing is usually a suggestion at track events like this to begin with.... we SUGGEST you have a full 4 or 5 point harness, but the standard 3pt on most vehicles...
Jesse, i'm sure there's gonna be a line of instructors waiting for you when you get up there...
hopefully the word got out about me as well... (i hope to return as an instructor in spring as well)...

that car seems to be so well setup that it just cruises down the track, doesn't even look like it's working all that hard!

i'll be heading up friday to help with setup and such...
new brakes are almost done on the car... just have to bleed them, oil change, and top off the fluids, and it's game on for this...
anyone is welcome to ride in my car... just ask that nobody craps themselves or throws up... lol... although i don't know how good these new brakes are gonna be, so it'll be a learning curve for me...
this is gonna be so fun... trying out my big brake setup, version 2.0... lol
