I just picked up a black 03 GT two days ago. Pics next week (gone this weekend).
It only took GM three full model years to get with the program back in the 60's and provide an answer to the Mustang, a car that changed automotive history then and is still doing so today. There was no '64 1/2, '65 or '66 Camaro, was there?
Nope. GM saw Ford kick their ASSES with a sensational new car that sold hundreds of thousands of units before they ever built ONE Camaro.
Fast-Forward to 2005: Ford releases what turns out to be the most popular Mustang body style in decades. GM and Mopar sit on the sidelines and watch as Ford hits yet another home run.
Then they decide they better get in on the "fun" and they release "retro" versions of their past answers to Ford's sensational MUSTANG. :headbang
Camaro fans (And Challenger fans for that matter) can thank those sucky Fords for inspiring two new models of cars that had been discontinued for years... All the while, MUSTANG has stayed the course. 45 years.
Werd up skippy... I'll take three please.
Werd,^ Then GM stopped making the f-body when they new the terminator was coming out and was going to whoop the crap outta them, and they have been gone since. Beagle stop posting its time for the adults to talk
