Great Lakes Dragaway Import Drag Wars #2

Hey all, I am wondering who will all be going to Import Drag Wars #2 on May 29th (sunday). It opens at 8am, and the competition starts around 11am.

I will be going down to compete in quick 16 again and am hoping that more people from the forum or the area area going to come down and watch some great racing. It was a great time last race on April 17th with a huge turnout. Check out www.greatlakesdragaway.com for details.

Also, there is DropFest going on in Appleton on June 4th and 5th (sat. and sun.) at Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR). They will be doing 4-cyl, 6-cyl, and 8-cyl brackets for racing on Sunday.

it is $30.oo, and you can pre-register on www.dropfest.com.

Last year it was pretty good; probably around 1000 cars in the car show, and around 150 cars competing on sunday. It was alot of fun last year, and I hope that more people go up to that one also. Bracket payout is $250 for 1st, and $100 for 2nd.

So, two good events going on in a couple of weeks; anyone else going to go???

As in 16sec? I think formula_drive would be good in that class!

Quick 16 as in 12.99 and faster; 16 fastest cars compete in class in heads up dial in eliminations.

I won Import Drag Wars #1 2005, Import Drag Wars #8 2004, and hopefully Drag wars #2 2005.

If you want to be a smartass, post it somewhere else.

If you want to race, go to the track.

Quick 16: 12.99-faster
B-class: 13.99-13.00
C-class: 14.99-14.00
D-class: 15-slower

Also, by buddy Nick with the white 99 3000GT VR4 (has the JDM wing and Volks) will be racing. We will probably be stopping up at Oscars this evening after we do our Wednesday Night club outing.

If my car is outa the paint shop I will put it in the show......I have to show that there are some cars showorthy without all the rice crap on them.

I would definatly race, but my clutch needs to be broken in and I need Dyno time for my new ECU program.......
