I'm about to order a 2-post lift and wondering if anyone on here has installed one before? Would be nice to have a hand at installing it by someone who has done it before to make sure I do everything correctly.

Instructions are pretty well detailed in the kit I helped put up. Most important part is making sure the footings are poured up to or beyond the requirements.
Ok thanks! When I get the lift I will look over everything and make sure I feel comfortable doing it.

Be careful when you measure your concrete. Most residential garages are built with a monolithic foundation slab, which means its much thicker at the outside than it is in the center.
many (in this state) seem to use that fibre fill instead of the traditional rebar/steel mesh as well
I don't mean to hijack this thread, but has anyone considered or installed an in-ground hydraulic lift?
