Pretty much most places around can handle typical LSX machine work... balancing, crank resizing, line bore, cam bearings, decking, yada yada. the torque plate is the issue where most wont have. Wegner motorsports IS the only one i know of as mentioned by Jim, somewhat locally who can do it with a plate. For example i just had C&S do an LS block for me and i thought they did great work but i didnt have to drastically increase the bore size either. I have built iron block engines and had NVR bore them w/o a plate and it worked, not saying its right or wrong but your choices are limited. Besides if you are using an AL LS1 block, you can only go .010" over anyway to make it a 347. or 38x with a 4.00 inch crank.
