lol.
I hated that damn crown of the field. Would take Favre a whole quarter to figure out how to throw a ball to the sideline cause it dipped down so much. He'd overthrow guys like by 5'.
Was the crown that much worse than other fields? I would think the NFL would of regulated it enough knowing them if there was much of a difference. Then again, they let games go on at the Vet in Philly for how many years with horrible turf and some guys blew out knees due to the waves in the ground IIRC.
It was a huge crown. Part of the home field advantage. Players in Dallas said they like the crown of the field because it felt like they were up on a stage. I've seen it reported to be 18" difference from center of the field to the sidelines. Which is a pretty good amount, especially if you're throwing from the far hashmarks.
Vet was awful. So many guys tore up there knees there. I think it was a Bear who blew both of his out near the pitchers mound
the vet was the worst
5 superbowls,dont hate.
