Selling for a friend, 1978 Ford F150 2 wheel drive. has a 460 with a C6 trans and a 9 inch rearend. Truck ran very good when parked, has been sitting awhile. Extended cab body is rotted, this is a parts truck. If interested, PM me and I will get you his number. I am a little under educated when it comes to the american stuff... Help me out, which trans is the C6?
They put that trans behind some 351w's. But standard issue when you have a 351/400m or a 460.Quote:

Since that one's out of a 2wd truck, then yes it's a 2wd trans. From what I remember 3-Speed, and Vacuum... I'm pretty sure they weren't electric back in the 60s when they were first put out? :rolf
