My husband had a perfectly "ordinary" little powder-blue '94 Taurus a while back, I got very emotionally attached to that car......It might not have been as spectacular as his '59 Ford Galaxie, but it was VERY dear to my heart (I cried when it finally was junked)....RIP, little Taurus....:(
not as sexy as my 94 GL
Well it was a great day down in Chicago. Got to be in "reserved" seating at the press release this morning for the new F-150 Harley edition, the new Transit Connect, and of course the new SHO. Interviewed with a few magazines and video crew for Ford (video will go to dealers, from what I was told). Got mixed messages from the press - those that weren't impressed was because of the base price of $37k.
365 AWD horsepower, 350 torque. And that full 350 will be available at 1500 rpms and plateaus all the way across. Twin turbo and paddle shifters.
Pretty exciting! I have a lot of emails and phone calls to catch up on, but I will post pictures soon!
Wow the numbers sounds great. (Well less the MSRP)
Did they give out the weight and/or weight distribution at all?
Weight hasn't been finalized yet, but under 4000.
