So after 5 or so years with a cammed lt1 camaro i finally made the switch to boost. I do miss the 368 rwtq from the V8 but boost is quite fun as well:headbang So what setups are you guys running?

boost is fun! wish my daytona was running again, as it'd be a rare sight on the roads today... :(
hope to build a boosted motor for the neon one of these years... i've got a t3/t4 super 57 trim turbo sitting around on the shelf for a rainy day... :)
boosted saturn here!
forged internals, custom turbo cams, custom setup..... and no i dont have any numbers yet.... havent made it to the dyno or the track YET! sometime in spring ill she what shes got
and my truck... but thats just a tow rig!
boosted mustang, according to the neons guys its sloooooow
just my powerstroke right now, but with 290k on the clock you really can tell when you start pushing the 15 psi or so it will move that heavy sob decent
i did have a thunderbird sc running 13 psi, that would smoke the tires nicely
I have a little 122ci boosting 17lbs.
i got just a stock 2jz twin turbo... haven't driven it yet thought. haha. still getting put together.
all 183cubic inches of fury.
2.0 ltr 4 cyl with turbo.
nothing special here just a lil baby turbo and 2.4L of fury.. its slow
Cool, any of you guys look into E85? I think i'm going to tune my Evo on the corn this spring. I have the fuel pump so i just need some 1000cc injectors... Should roll about 350awhp, can't wait!
My Truck whistles sometimes.....
I'm on E85 (and boosted).
Terrible starting in the cold, the need for HUGE fuel components, variable ethanol content, and lower gas mileage are whats not to like.
But the octane is VERY nice, and of coarse the price is right. :)
im on e85 as well, no issues so far, just keep fouling plugs at about 500 miles
How long have you been on E85?
135ci of VNT fury.
Yeah, i know you can. I just don't want to worry about finding a station with it when i am away from home, which i am a lot. for me switching between 93 and E85 is fliping a switch for the map and draining the left over fuel with the pump and return line. Should be a 15 min job. I'm sure once i get it tuned for it i will never want to go back. Although runing 28-30 lbs of boost on the way to work an back will be quite jerky.
Good topic about e85 aka corn race gas.
E85 is already proven that it will make power. but it does take 15-25% more fuel depending on the set-up.
I personally might just use e85 this year @ 30-35psi on street.
I've seen 700+whp on e85 4cylinder turbo. :)
Besides I do have 160lb injectors so I don't have to starve for fuel lol. plus it is very cheap gas :thumbsup
good luck
I'm at 24psi
Baby little Gen V eaton M90 putting about a wicked 8 lbs of boost
Twin turbo running sport 600's this summer. :banana
I run 18-20psi on an sr. around 315whp
stock evo8 turbo is a 18g man...i used to have one....max boost it would push was 25lbs and 1000cc injectors r way too much for that amount of power....i added a walbro 255lph and kept the stock injectors and made 330awhp...they werent even maxed yet with a tune...
ill be running about 15lbs...500rwhp for the street....around 20-21lbs 600rwhp for my track tune...on my greddy tt 350z
the 240 is not running but when it does again it will be at about 20-25lbs.. This is on a ka
What you doing to the Ka now?
nothing to crazy, small changes.
I'm Waiting to see progress pictures on that 2jz project.
when i had my civic i was running 93 octane and making 460whp. 28psi and race gas i was making 600whp. boost is alot of fun as long as you can get some traction but with awd you should be ok :thumbsup i have a corvette now on nitrous that isnt nearly as fun but maybe someday ill build and boost it so that it beats out my old civic. only problem is ill probably need over 800whp to do that. :(
