tuff, you are gay:thumbsup
Tuff, car looked good last night heading down the track.
ALOT better than that TT Impala
couldnt we plan this for tomorrow? Some of us do have to work on weekends ya know :(
good luck you guys.....someone better get this on vid
tuff, will this be a full pass or half track shut down?
Dr. Ford wins with a 7.95....Woot!:headbang
any vids???
I don't have a vid.Tuffs car got out of the groove and he had to get out of it,he got it back in the groove and tried to run Jim down but at that point it was over,Jims car went straight as a string all the way down and was on one hell of a mission.
congrats Jim...that's one FAST pump gas car....
Congrats Jim way to shut him down! :headbang
So the series is tied at 1-1 now? WTF can't shut down the season without the tie breaker
Once Dr. Ford and Tuff both get there cars to hook at the same time it will be one hell of a race.
Great work Jim! Pro-mod what? :D
Congrats, Jim! I wish I could have made it down to see this one.:thumbsup
As much as tuff talks sheet. I guess ya cant call him a safe racer so far. The WIR thing, now this. Guys backed it up even though he gets to people, But gotta give credit when its due. Good run Dr. Ford havent even seen vid but heard it left nice.
I need new tires...
Trying to "Phsyc out" in the bunout box or what?
From a mechanical (chassis) standpoint you are absolutely correct- maybe!
But then again alot of people tried to tell me that I would'nt win PGD's either because of that bad-ass Viper. You know the one... that declined my challenge to him at his track, best out of three?
Oh and because it's a Ford and they cannot make as much power as their competition...
And because it is on 93 octane with LOW boost...
And because it weighs 3560 with me in it...
Real races are more than mechanical logistics.
If that was the case, the car with the best 60 ft. and the most MPH would always win!
He went a 1.09 60 ft.
I went a 1.28 on the rear wheels.
He went 180mph on moo mode.
I went 182 on 93 octane. (MOOOO!)
Did you know that a stock suspension drag radial car recently went 7.18?
Oh yeah, you GOTTA have 15X33 tires and a 4-link to do that??!!!
It does make it a whole lot easier, but when has my team gone the EASY ROUTE!!
Point I am making is this-
Don't let anybody try and talk you out of what you want to do, you could be missing out on achieving things no person has done!
Think about it, Ron would have me in a Chevy if I listened!!:rolf
NEVER SAY NEVER!!!!!:banana1:
NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just posted NO Pump Gas Drags for 2009!
No more need to stay on 93 with low boost-
now a healthy diet of C-16, big boost, more timing, etc.:headbang
Her promod,promod,promod!!:devil
The quest for 195mph begins now:wow
The point I was trying to make is that for what his car is comparable to, 200mph shouldnt be a problem, looking at what other cars similar to his are running.
I do love that T-Bird of yours, but comparing the 2 side-by-side, it shouldnt even be a comparison. That makes what you've done even more impressive.
No vids!? WTF! ahhh well.
Josh seems like a super nice guy every time i talk to him
idk if its just me, but i think tuffs car seemed a lot more fun to watch when it was more of a "street" car
honestly the track was ok yesterday and i made both of my spray runs at the same time tuff did. with that much power it is hard hooking up a car with that much power and mine is not even close to tuffs nor dr. fords and i was still fighting it all the way down.
Beat by a pump gas car. OUCH.
Congrats to the underdog Dr. Ford!
Congrats Dr Ford!!!!
Any vids of the race??
