Couture was not ready. Congrats to Lesnar.
By shit I mean lesnar looked gassed. He still pulled it off in a big way and is your new heavyweight champ.
Btw ufc @ champps in greendale rocks. We're still here...doesn't feel as cramped as hooter's.
for those of you who didnt see the fight

WOW that was pretty crazy
I thought Lesnar did a great job! He was careful of Coutures experience but took the chances with his punches and did great. He didn't make a fool of himself after he won and acted with respect to Couture. He still needs a lot of work but has shown that he can throw good punches and is quick as hell for a person so big! I was glad he won and I look forward to watching him fight again!
That was a great!
the last few 30 seconds where brutal
was there any comment by Couture after the fight?
Randy was doing ok with the big guy until he got caught. Lesnar is a monster and I was glad to see him not act like an ass after the fight and disrespect a legend. Very humble in his win and he won me over as a fan. Nice job.
This is very true. I didn't like how cocky he was after the herring fight, but he was VERY respectful after the win. He needs some conditioning, but overall he did well against someone with couture's experience.
My buddy called it last night that it was like watching Rocky fight the big russian.
I had Rocky IV on the brain when it started too. lol
If lesnar got conditioned for a long drawn out fight, he wouldn't be dangerous, he'd be deadly.
His biggest test is going to be against Nog for sure...as Nog is a much better heavyweight fighter than Couture.
Then again...Nog has to be beat Frank Mir...which I don't see as a problem at all
Too bad nobody bet against me!
And You could totally tell Lesnar was nervous fighting Couture because of all the HYPE..Brock totally could have taken the fight faster.
