Damn... hopefully I get the car finished by then! I'd love to do this.
im going to do this but probably hold off a bit more until i see weather for around then. Something about being on a track with a bunch of torque heavy Fbodies in the rain rubs me the wrong way.
oh come on! I was out on track in the rain/sleet/snow mix they had last april, and still managed to overheat the car! just ask ben! lol
for the record, stage 1 is complete... on to stage 2 of car prep... ;)
ha, well im pretty sure I'll be there, but rain makes me nervous.
i've got my rain tires as of friday, and i've got my dry tires held up in my garage all winter...
205/50-r15 Bridgestone RE-11's at full tread depth for rain and street...
225/45-r15 Hoosier R3S04's with 1 break in heat cycle...
and new brakes and fluid... ;)
to go on a ride along do you have to have a Snell rated helmet?
i believe so.... i think snell 95 is approved, but i've got a 2005 from last season of auto-x, so i'm in the clear anyway you look at it.. lol
why flick, do you want to make sure when you puke in my car, it stays in your helmet? lol
ill be there!!! might not race but well be there. hopefully its nicer than last years lol.
ben are you really doing this,if so i may wanna go with,do a ride along help pit crew and stuff
ben, lmk when you're doing brakes... i'm more than willing to help!

Any body want to place their goals for lap times this year? Mine is 2:27, my mechanic (very good mechanic, with a impressive resume) says 2:25 should be possible with minor changes. Keep in mind the motor is a stock LS6.
Just one event a year? Or will you guys be having more?
No way I can make it to this one, just too early in the season. If you have one later in the season I would definately be interested.
