on the theis holsters what's the difference for the clips
if you look at the bottom of the page they show you the three replacement clips one looks to hold under the belt which i would probably get. the other two not sure.
I went with the kydex clips. Mostly because I figured if I bumped agaionst something they wouldn't scratch it like metal might. I didn't go with theJ hooks because the top of the pants hold the weight rather than the belt.

Thats a good point seems like those would be more comfortable as well.
Those looking at holsters can save some money by checking out http://www.crossbreedseconds.com/
I ordered a couple of different styles from www.readyholster.com. They arrived quickly and are well-made.
Just picked up a Blackhawk Serpa for my Glock. I really like it.
Has anyone here ever heard of Cleveland Holsters? He's out of West Allis. Quite a bit cheaper than Theis and Crossbreed. Same materials and same design.. Just wondering. I ordered a Theis and then found out about him two days later.. Just thought I'd offer them up as an option.
Just don't pull a Tex Grebner. ;)
Not a serpa fan, I prefer the Safariland ALS for a retention owb.

Hmmm, those screwheads on the inside don't look like they'd be comfortable.
i sent him an email he doesn't list the pk380 on his list so i want to see if he can make me one up quick and what it would cost.
I'm unsure on the screw heads.. Can't really see them being more of a nuisance than the round heads inside the Theis holster. Hmm.. The quality looks decent though. 30 day no questions asked money back and lifetime warranty..
I'll prolly try one..
My only thing is it looks like the screws stick out rather than being flush like the rivets on my Theis.
Plus I'm thinking the "slotted" screw might get snaggy if you wear an undershirt? Just thinking out loud. Just bought a LCR and an xd40sc tonight so I'm assuming I'm gonna be in the market for at least one more holster sometime soon. It would be nice to see these locally before buying too. I'm a little concerned with only one "screw" holding on the belt clips as well...
I was may be wrong, but it seems like he uses the screw for easy of making them, because there is not really any benefit of those over rivets.

I think you can move the holster as well as the belt clips on these.. On the Theis one I have, you can only move the belt clips...

cleveland holsters made me one for my pk380. i guess the screws are used because A. you can adjust it and B. as the holster is used say the leather loosens up in the holes the screws can be tightened. i was wearing it around the house today and it feel comfortable. i've never worn a holster before. For the $40 i think its pretty good. i would like to switch out the clips for some plastic ones but for now these will have to do.

Finally got around to ordering a theis today. It's been a cheap uncle mikes up til now. Hopefully you guys are happy with yours. I went with theis over crossbreed because I like the full muzzle coverage keeping from wearing on my pants.
