I'm looking for the specifications for the NHRA 6 point cages. Anyone have a rule book I could borrow and make some copies or post some information. Door bar infomation is most important
thanks

the NHRA rules on that stuff is pretty generic Jeff.
what are you trying to do?
I think I know what he is trying to do.
the S10 has a 4 point bar in it, but the door bar seems too low for spec. Im my eyes it does. The front door bar is practically below the seat. Which seems too low. So before i welded it in, and get rear bars bent, I want to make sure the front bars are correct.

contact Dave,he certs cages. He will answer any of the technicalities.

its hard to tell in that pic,but can you bring the front mounting point to the corner of the floor, where the firewall begins?
This is just the bar that came in the truck, thats why i want to find out what it needs to be. I'll get some better pictures tonight
Are you going to do the bars through the rear window into the bed?
As I recall from memory the door bar has to be above your LH elbow when your left hand is anywhere on the steering wheel.

Read in the second paragraph.
When we welded the bar in the S10 it wasn't ment to be to specs or anything. IIRC it's just bolted to the floor. Main purpose was for the harness :)
Ok, looks like once i get the specs on the classifications. I can build and modify the bar in there to be to spec. Ron you purchase a mandrel bender?
SLOWC5... i can come out and point out what you need.... just give me a buz 414-526-1296
Thanks for the offer Ron, I already having my tubing :)
Scotty, thanks for the offer we'll be in touch.
next question, the rear bars go through the back window and through the bed and welded to the frame. Is there a way to make those removable and still certifiable? For the reason of having to remove the bed to say back half the truck, tub the bed, etc...???
