4 speed yet? or is she going TH400 and huge stall route?
Nice car..........I miss my 71'. :(
T400 with a nice stall. Muncie 4 speeds are as weak as GM 10 bolts!
LOOKING GOOD! reminds me of my 72' :)
perhaps i will be doing a swap on something old soon!

1" on 10 bolts makes all the diff i guess hahah
Update:
Exhaust valves were hitting the pistons, I had flat tops in it so compression sucked donkey balls, wrong flywheel and clutch, thank God that pile of turd is being rebuilt. It was a 468, too. 498 ci will be the next displacment, other details will be classified i.e. compression and other possible goodies :shades
From what I hear its not just 10-bolts it makes a differance on........ :durrQuote:

New Update:
Block is junk. 60 over and it has a sleeve in it......hmmm, all of the options now :shades
Since the number jumped from 468 to 498, why not keep goin, say 572ish????? Just a nice round number in my mind. :D Looks like a really nice car from what I can see in the picks! Know of anyone trying to sell a 68-71 chevelle?? Have a friend wanting/looking.
Don't tempt me.....everything is for sale for the right price. I have already been looking at Merlin blocks :wow
I have a 68 and a 70 that we want to sell. The 70 is in parts and we almost every thing to turn it into a ss except for the motor and the 68 is together but it sits outside but it has a 12 bolt in it.Quote:
