Is it safe for painted surfaces? Was thinking about diluting it at about 1:4 and using it as a rim cleaner. White rims get dirty easy:rolf

It doesn't say on the label that you CAN'T, but it doesn't say you can either. Just thought I would ask the expert:thumbsup

just use detail spray man. Your wheels are painted so there wont be an issue there.

I would take each rim off, use a sponge with soapy water to clean them. Use a tar remover if you need to. Put Wheel sealant on them to make it easier the next time you need to clean them.
