The weather forecast had me thinking that the warmer days this year are over. I decided to take the day and prep the Z06 for winter storage. Most of my 'storage ritual' isn't required to properly store a vehicle - I just like enjoying a clean and detailed car the first nice day of spring.
Step 1 - Remove the wheels, clean wheel barrels, apply wheel sealant to face and barrel of wheel. Detail wheel well.
My wheels were not that bad and I've posted about the Wheel Sealant (http://www.carcaredepot.com/magento/poorboy-s-world-wheel-sealant.html) before. I decided to snap some photos of the Natural Look (http://www.carcaredepot.com/magento/poorboy-s-world-natural-look.html) spray I used to clean up the wheel wells. Granted the car was not that dirty - but I looks nicer than when I picked it up. The only thing I did not do because of time was to remove and clean the rotors. It's great for plastic and rubber, trim, etc. It's not greasy or super shiny.

The rest of my winter storage steps involve making sure tank is topped off, cleaning the interior, treating the leather, putting a fresh coat of wax on the car, clean the glass, over-inflate the tires a little bit, hook up the battery tender, put the cover on, and hide some dryer sheets around to keep pests away.
