View Full Version : White G8 GT Detail

My buddy Robert drove his new 09 G8 GT over and we washed and detailed it tonight. Just a quick wash down with his foam gun and he tried out the Super Blue Plush Microfiber towels I sell, one 16x24 towel dried most of the car and surprised him with it's absorbency.

The car had some light swirl marks, but we didn't want to really get into correcting the paint. I used Poorboy's World White Diamond Glaze to try to remedy them at least a little bit, applied with a LC CCS White Pad and a FLEX 3401 polisher. After that we put on a coat of Tropi-Care Sealant xP and then a coat of Natty's Blue Wax from Poorboy's World.

This was my first white car. I had a yellow car and thought the white would be similar. It's not. It was not an easy car to do - and I was really happy with the results.

Looks really good. Wish the lighing was better so you could see it better. I wish my truck looked that clean. It has been so neglected it needs a good cleaning too bad i have no time

Yea, we were rushing the sun to get done to shoot some photos. In a way, the overcast/lowlight conditions help show reflections and finish clarity. If it was sunny out it'd just be whited out.
