Thursday Bonus Race Day

We're going to try to open Thursday, November 13th from 4-8 PM. Race for 20 bucks. As long as it does not rain, this is a go.

EDIT: Nevermind I just called the track hotline. They are open tonight and as always spectators are $12.

It was a pretty good night, however I ran slow since I didn't have a helmet and didn't want to get kicked off... :rolf I was a sandbagger, and was launchin hard for the hell of it. Track was sticky though... There were only 8 people racing and I was able to get 6 runs in from 6:45 til 7:11 when they shut down the track becuase of rain... However I did get a rain pass because of it... :thumbsup

All in all I feel it was a good time... Fastest run was a 14.3 and I was lettin off so I didn't eclipse 13.99 since I didn't have a helmet...

I was planning on doing so a little later in the night... Then it started raining... I'm buying a helmet this winter so I don't run into this issue again...

I was thinking about taking the Z down there tonight after work and seeing what it would do, but the weather didn't look promising enough to make the trip.

Depending on what time you'd of made it, it might of been ok... My last pass was at 7:11, and it was the last one of the night...

When I left work it was drizzling up here at 5pm. I could have for sure got some runs in, but the weather didn't warrant the drive down there. Maybe there will be another opportunity this year, otherwise I'll get her there next season. It'll be the first automatic I've taken down the 1/4 mile.

Weather permitting, we are still safe to be open weekends thru the end of this month. Also, if we get anymore "freak warm weather" in mid-week, we can open on a moments notice.

Depends on the day and who's in the booth...a certain someone was running all day with his TT BMW with no helmet at BCM day and they didn't say a word.
