Go and try to drum up races for that POS show u call RSD somewhere else. Lord knows most people aren't coming back after their first visit since every RSD goes something like this:

Most annoying announcer ever: calling blah blah some one wants to race you
call continues for next hour......no race

in the interim time he has to announce 50 times for people to get the hell back.....has to stop the runs several times.....might be able to cycle all the cars once...ON A GOOD NIGHT...

then he has to b!itch about people running their cars down there that aren't in grudge or money races.... funny thing is they PAID just as fu(king much as the one or two cars setting up races and are BY FAR the biggest number of cars there EVERYtime.

I drove 100 miles to watch my First RSD event. Can say was ok at best, felt almost cheated when they stopped the shit for like a half hour. Rope off the back section of the track for christ sakes! So you only have your two guys checkn the car! Do this shit on the street and it goes smoother! Lanes run smooth as a plane crash. IF you gonna run it like a streetrace you need to have a guy that doesnt ***** in a mic all nite. Walk up to them and get them out of the way!(the roping would stop it) Hell yeah I gotta car! so dont be a snatch either. Just telln ya what you need to do to make it LIKE a streetrace. Me and some friends rented a track recently, had more fun than an RSD night, got A LOT more runs in, and each of us paid only slightly more than an RSD event. :devil:devil

RSD is not about the spectators,its about the RACERS.
look at any street race(when they used to happen weekly) it was packed with good cars racing,and hundreds of spectators. why did the spectators come out? because the racing was good.

Tuff, I take it you're the guy that's on the pa all the time talking $hit and talking about how fast your car will be. Just a word of advice, that gets old really fast. I've been to a handful of rsds, and have always had a faster car there than you do. And I drive a neon. I know your car will be faster than mine will ever be, but wait till its running at least before you talk. And for all the 'slow cars' that you like to talk $hit about, at least they show up and race, unlike yourself. I enjoy RSDs, and don't mind you even, but I think what most people dislike is you. And since you'll probably call me out now, sure I'll grab a lane with your race car...for a cheeseburger. That's if you don't mind racing something FWD and rockin 153 cubic inches of fury. :)

Yes, but every RSD I went to that year all I heard was "my car will be ready soon". Then I think it finally showed up for the last RSD of the season and he ran it maybe 3 times. Since then it's been "next week" or "soon" and all I see is him calling people out for big $$$$ to run against an ungodly fast car that 99% of the people who go to RSD wouldn't have a chance against anyway. Whenever that car finally shows up, I'll happily run him for a cheeseburger,as long as I get a 6 sec. lead. Course at this rate it'll be 2015 and by then I could probably afford to give away $1000 on a race. Tuff embodies everything I can't stand about RSD, he'd be better off spending the money on enlargement surgery than a car. Yes, but every RSD I went to that year all I heard was "my car will be ready soon". Then I think it finally showed up for the last RSD of the season and he ran it maybe 3 times. Since then it's been "next week" or "soon" and all I see is him calling people out for big $$$$ to run against an ungodly fast car that 99% of the people who go to RSD wouldn't have a chance against anyway. Whenever that car finally shows up, I'll happily run him for a cheeseburger,as long as I get a 6 sec. lead. Course at this rate it'll be 2015 and by then I could probably afford to give away $1000 on a race. Tuff embodies everything I can't stand about RSD, he'd be better off spending the money on enlargement surgery than a car. Then he can stand there shaking his **** at everyone yelling "mine is bigger then yours", instead of using his car to do it. :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Tuff, I take it you're the guy that's on the pa all the time talking $hit and talking about how fast your car will be. Just a word of advice, that gets old really fast. I've been to a handful of rsds, and have always had a faster car there than you do. And I drive a neon. I know your car will be faster than mine will ever be, but wait till its running at least before you talk. And for all the 'slow cars' that you like to talk $hit about, at least they show up and race, unlike yourself. I enjoy RSDs, and don't mind you even, but I think what most people dislike is you. And since you'll probably call me out now, sure I'll grab a lane with your race car...for a cheeseburger. That's if you don't mind racing something FWD and rockin 153 cubic inches of fury. :)

Marks car was definitely getting out. the pipe wasn't tightened down enough and it came off where it goes into the firewall/intercooler. it's why I was saying the track didn't seem to be as "hookalicious" as it has been in the past. Seemed like everyone was getting loose. But that could be because of the stupid street tire cars trying to get into the pro tree lanes and all the other breakage.

I wouldn't wish what happened to the Nova on any of my worst enemies. Billy doesn't talk alot of shit, so I feel bad for 'em. That's your problem you think it's not a race unless you mortgage your house on the outcome. Sorry, gambling is not my vice of choice. I love to line em up for a little friendly action, but guys like you turn it into fight. Race for $10, race for a beer, race for the hell of it, race for a burger, plenty of fun involved and it's not hot lapping.

I have to agree. Big money races may draw spectators... but little or no money races draw more racers. The vast majority (shoot... all) of street races I have been involved in have been for fun. I thought the primary purpose of RSD was to get the racing off of the streets and onto the track? Well, that's not going to happen if you give everyone the impression that you have to be a big-ballin-big-spendin idiot to race.

Where's the incentive to newcomers? That's primarily why I've never gone to an RSD because the impression I get is that I'm going to just end up being hustled for a couple hundered dollars. You can have the big money races without stepping on the little guys. Otherwise you're just cutting off potential customers (not a very sound business plan).

Furthermore, it seems to me that there are PLENTY of events for people running FAST-ASS cars. What seems to be lacking are events for those that don't have the 7,8,9,10 second cars. I laughed my ass off when I saw the new "True Street" competition at GLD. Give me a break. More like "True Track".

Josh just didnt want to do the headers and fuel cell.... No problem, Sound Performance stepped up to the plate and in a matter of 2 DAYS we have gotten a ton of work done. Headers and fuel cell will be done this week...after that, Legend Racing will fire it up....and WHAH-LA... I'm racing again.

The best part is, the guys in IL have no problems answering the phone, ordering parts, working late and staying on the job until it's done...... PLUS, they dont treat me like an ATM machine when they need to pay their bills either. The welds that their guy does is UNBELIEVEABLE .we compared them to the "harold welds" from my one useless header he made... LOL!!...I'll be nice and *NOT* post pics of the comparison. I dont want to be accused of starting trouble. I'm just stating a fact. BTW, they dont lie to me or make promises they dont keep either. ;)

Seriously, nobody there gives a flying **** about his oppinions or the conversations he is having with other people with microphones. Oh and I love how they blame the racers for the limited amount of runs they make. Everytime I go to the RSD's I see the same old fast cars making pass after pass as the other lanes just fill up with cars ready to run. Last time I checked it was RSD's, not fast cars only. Matter of fact I saw Marks car make two passes before Seth was able to make one and he was at the front of the line of the other lanes. Just seems like there is some serious prejudice going on there.

And as long as im bitching, lets talk about all the **** ups on the track. Mabey IF they did a decent tech inspection people wouldnt blow coolant and other shit all over the track. When Seth went through tech they didnt even open his ******* hood, You call that saftey? Ive had this same thing with myself in the past, just ask a few questions and let you through, thats rediculous. Do a solid tech inspection on every vehicle like your supposed to and alot of incidents on the track could be avoided. Id be willing to bet that 80% of that shit running there was not up to regs.

#1 Do you know how to build a 25.1 car that will pass NHRA cert *AND* work with a blown alky motor? uhhh... probably not. Me neither. Thats why I went to Trick Chassis.

#2 Sound Performance is building the headers and fuel cell. I will admit, they are better at doing that than anybody...and I want the best for my car. whats wrong with that?

#3 Legend racing is helping me put port nozzles on my motor and setting me up with a baseline tune up. Do *YOU* know how to set up a blown alcohol motor? Doug Roden has 20 years experience with that stuff, he is TEACHING me how to do it. I have been a nitrous guy for 20 years, I will admit I am new to this stuff and I dont want to learn by blowing the motor up 10 times before I figure it out. whats wrong with that?

The funny part of that video, that Darrell edited to try to make me look bad, was the fact that *I* had no money on the race and I was talking to people on the sidelines who had bet on it.

There were 2 reasons that I was pissed in the video. one was the idiotic starter, the other was a ticket I got while trying to find a place to race for Fox News (I actually got several).

The race was staged for TV. Back then, I was street racing for a living (yes, really) and I *NEVER* won a free race. However, I almost ALWAYS won a race when it was for money.

I had to do this (lose) because it was getting real hard finding any "heads up" races....I always had to spot people out and the spots they were asking for were getting rediculous.

The sad part is, here it is.... 15 years later....and I still have the same problem, NOBODY wants to race me with out *ME* having to give up a ton of land.
